OAK BROOK POST OFFICE

United States Postal Service

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS:

DLM’s objective was to replace the existing exterior skin and roofing of this 1979 vintage postal facility in Oak Brook.  The existing skin consisted of failing ceramic tile.  The approach to recladding the building was to remove the ceramic tile and add metal fascia and a synthetic plaster surface to the exterior walls.  The roof was a complete tear off and replaced with a single-ply membrane roofing system.
